Anita Bertisen
I founded MineAlign in January of 2025, drawing on over 20 years of experience in the global mining industry with companies like Rio Tinto, AngloGold Ashanti, and Newmont. My career has taken me across operations, contract mining, project design, business improvement, innovation, and operational technology.
Collaboration and teamwork are at the core of everything I do, empowering people to create results-focused strategies and execute with excellence. Being proficient in multiple languages and culturally astute allows me to motivate others to step outside their comfort zones and confidently share their perspectives.
Today, as the founder of MineAlign, I’m committed to bringing this wealth of knowledge, leadership, and passion to every collaboration, helping teams and organizations align with their goals and unlock their full potential.
My Story
Born and raised in the Netherlands, my passion for mining was sparked early by my love of exploring mountains and seeking out new experiences. This sense of curiosity and drive led me to take my career abroad and immerse myself in complex, dynamic environments. I’ve leveraged this unique blend of skills to lead impactful initiatives and energize those around me. Along the way, I have honed my abilities as a presenter, panelist, and workshop facilitator, enabling me to share insights and inspire change within the industry.
